What is Nutrition?
Nutrition studies the relationship between foods and their health benefits. We improve the quality of life of our patients thanks to the improvement and prevention of illnesses of the modern world. We also suggest improving your relationship with food, avoiding prohibitions, instead looking for better food choices, adapted to the goals and needs of each patient.
How can Nutrition help me?
In the Nutrition appointments we conduct a bioelectrical impedance analysisto evaluate body composition (fat mass, lean mass, total body water and basal metabolism).
And after a complete analysis of the patient, their medical history, their habits, their eating schedules, their dietary preferences and their level of physical activity,we design a personalized diet.
What are the conditions that we treat with Nutrition?

The first Nutrition session is estimated to last around 1 hour, which includes a study of your medical history (diseases, allergies/intolerances, medication, recent tests), dietary history (habits and 24 hour schedule) and a first evaluation of your body composition and anthropometric dimensions. You’ll receive an individualized diet plan by email within 3 days after the first session. The first session costs 50 euros.
Check-up sessions last around 30 minutes, and the changes of your body composition and anthropometric dimensions will be analyzed, you will have time to ask any questions that you might have since the last session and the diet plan will be adjusted to the patient’s food preferences and the goals met at the moment. The cost of a check-up session in 25 euros.
It is ideal that the evaluation of your body composition is always done under the same conditions to allow for a more accurate comparison of results. The best time to weight yourself is in the morning before you eat or drink anything, and before you exercise. This way, depending on the moment that we carry out the first body composition evaluation, we will try to always maintain the same conditions.
Normally you can, as long as you consider your diet plan while making any changes, for example you substitute a vegetable for another vegetable or a lean protein sourcefor another lean protein source.. There should not be any issues as long as you make changes within your dietary guidelines and when you decide to make any changes that don’t go along with your diet, you do it with the guidance of your therapist. You should not make any substitutions of a food item by another item from a different group. You should not substitute a vegetable by another serving of carbs, for example
